Rube Goldberg Machines

On Tuesday, we'll introduce Rube Goldberg machines, complex, convoluted devices that are designed to do a relatively simple task. We have materials for the children to use build Rube Goldberg machines of their own design over the course of the week. First we show them a few videos for inspiration.

i) 7 Year old Audri's Rube Goldberg Machine monster trap

ii) Wallace & Gromit's Remote Control

iii) The Page Turner

What is this!?

Today was the day we examined the solutions from the overnight nematode extraction. Gwen, Esther and Nadia discovered this creature among many nematodes.

Nina and Yasmin observed this nematode swimming in their soil extracts today in camp.
